About Phoenix Bat Removal

Welcome to phoenixbatcontrol.com. We are the only qualified bat removal company in Phoenix, Arizona. We are the leading bat removal company in this district. Our founder, a seasoned wildlife specialist, started this company 20 years ago. And over the years, he has refined his skills in humane wildlife removal and has created this bat removal company to provide a unique bat control service that is second to none. Because of the confidence we have in our capabilities, we offer as much as 5 to 10 years of guarantee on our services. Our mission is to provide 100% satisfaction to your customers. That inspires to deliver results that are not only on par but raises the bar in terms of customers' expectations in bat control. At the core of what we do, we believe that bats should be treated kindly and with respect. Not only because it's the law, but because they play a crucial role in the ecosystem. By harming bats with poisons or lethal traps, we are doing ourselves a disservice in the long run. Bats feed on insects, helping to control their population. Similarly, some bat species help to pollinate plants that we love and eat. To protect their health during the removal process is why we only make use of exclusion devices. Bat removal is serious work that requires a professional to resolve. Why? Because bats pose serious health risks to humans and pets. At our company, we not only have the technical expertise to inspect, analyze and resolve your bat infestation problem, but we also have specialized tools to attain the desired results. Our technician inspects your property to determine how bats are getting into your attic or house, the size of the colony, and conveys to you the steps required to permanently resolve the problem. Bat infestation should never be taken lightly. If you'd like us to take care of your infestation problem, give us a call NOW! We operate 24-7-365, so don't hesitate to call us at 480-806-1067 to discuss your bat problem and schedule a fast appointment.

Residential

We are experts at removing bats from residential properties. Whether you have a single bat trapped in your house, a colony roosting in your attic, and/or various other problems, there is no need to worry! During our removal process, we make sure to inspect your entire home carefully, tracking down all the entrypoints bats are using to invade your place. Next, we perform a process called live exclusion (where no bats are harmed and all exit your property), then seal all entry holes completely shut. We also take care of the cleanup process after, so your home is safe and clean!

Commercial

Besides residential areas, we also have a wealth of experience removing bats from commercial properties! We begin by investigating the area for possible bat entrances, covering holes even as small as 1/4 of an inch. Through our live exclusion process, bats leave the building through one-way exits, and we seal up every hole afterward. Once the bats have been removed, we perform a cleanup process. This includes dealing with guano, replacing damaged insulation, and decontaminating the place.

Do Bats Migrate?

During the winter months, you may not see bats for a long while. If you live in an area that normally sees a ton of bats, to where they may become a nuisance, you have to wonder where they all go.

After all, bats cannot simply disappear and they do not die out in large numbers during winter. They have to go somewhere, and they have to go there for a long period.

Many may assume that, like birds, bats migrate. During winter, the temperature and conditions are harsh. It is hard for the bats to survive without their food source and with the bad conditions surrounding them.

Do they actually migrate, though, or is there something else to this?

Bats During Winter

Winter takes out the bats' main food source, insects. Without insects, they cannot survive very well. They have no food and they are competing with other bats and animals for the food that is around.

Beyond that, there is the weather and conditions. Both of these can make living difficult for a bat. They can get in the way of flying and make it harder for the bats to do anything at all.

For that reason, bats have to go into hiding during winter. They do not migrate like birds do, going a long distance to reach warmth. Instead, they hibernate.

The reason you do not see bats during winter is because they have all gone to hibernate until their food source returns in the spring.

Migration

They may migrate slightly to find caves, or anywhere good enough for them to hide during the winter, but that is not always necessary.

The reason they migrate to find caves is that they need to stay away from the outdoors. They need to find somewhere safe, and caves are the best option for that.

They also go into homes, though. If they do not want to or cannot find caves, they will go into people's homes. It has warmth and darkness, perfect for a bat trying to escape the winter. They will hibernate there for the season, coming out when it is safe.

Winter is rough for everyone, but especially so for animals like bats. In order to survive, they have to hibernate. This may mean migrating slightly to find caves, or it can mean finding any closed off, dark, and safe space to live and hibernate for a few months.
